The Girl Who Married the Moon: Tales from Native North America by Joseph Bruchac

I really enjoyed this collection of stories. Folklore is a passion of mine so I'm always excited to explore something new. The stories in this collection center around women and show how important/respected women were in each tribe. I really liked the layout of the collection, it's broken up into four sections based on geographical location and the tribe the story originated from is marked at the beginning of each story. Before each section the author gives a bit of information on the tribes in the section. I really enjoyed this part and wish the sections were a bit longer.
