Bi : The Hidden Culture, History and Science of Bisexuality by Julia Shaw
informative
medium-paced
3.5
I was intrigued by this because bisexuality is under-represented in media and I thought reading a whole book on it would be helpful. It covers some very interesting topics, includes a lot of research and is written in a very accessible way, all of which I appreciated. I found the science parts the most fascinating. However as someone who's read a lot of queer non fiction and knows quite a few bi people, most of this wasn't ground-breaking information to me. It's only just over 250 pages so I think if it had been longer and was able to delve deeper into the topics I might have gotten more from it. However I'm glad it exists and think it would be a valuable read for a lot of people.
