I read this after Episode I came out when I became obsessed with Star Wars and Obi-Wan Kenobi. After the Episode VII trailer was released 2 weeks ago it has made me get back into Star Wars hardcore. I wanted to read something about Obi-Wan, but it seems that the Star Wars EU doesn't seem to be too interested in tell his story. I remembered these from when I was a kid, and decided to re-read them.
Granted the book is written for kids from 10-12 I would say. The plot wasn't too complex, but I did like the way the author wrote Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. I really enjoyed this book, it allowed me to get a look at Obi-Wan before he became a Padawan. It was also interesting reading Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon interact for the first time. Also, some back story on Qui-Gon as well. Can't wait to get my hands on the next book.
