I don't exactly know how I feel about this book. My young, equine-obsessed, and girlish heart wants to love it, but I can't say that I do. Oh well. It was mostly cute with an interesting premise. But the almost romantic-going-on-obsessive love between Anthea and Florian the horse (mostly coming from the horse) was odd...Really odd...
Young, horse-crazy girls will absolutely adore this book and probably not view the communication between Anthea and Florian as somewhat strange. But as an adult reader (and not the intended audience) it was a little too much and too weird.
