this is less of a memoir and more a collection of musings and thoughts. a window into the poetic, intellectual mind and life of Patti Smith.
though I typically lean towards science and history heavy non-fiction books, I found M Train to be beautiful in its simplicity. and it had the end result that any good memoir should: I felt that I truly knew the author better than I had before I read it.
