Book one of this trilogy has me excited for the next 2 books. I enjoyed all the banter and relationship building between Kai and Paedyn. Even knowing the ending(through assumption) I wanted to keep reading. Ending was predictable. It did have similarities to other books but I didn’t mind it. It was unique in its own way.
