This is a book with multiple mysteries trying to be solved across three timelines. It’s an interesting format, and I so very much appreciated a linear timeline (so many books go present day to the past and back and forth, and I hate it). Every character was well developed and to an extent, even the ones who started the book dead. Won’t spoil it for anyone, but another reason I liked the book is that the reveal seems so obvious only in retrospect. I really didn’t see the killer coming until the very end.
Moderate: Child abuse, Infidelity, and Mental illness
Minor: Forced institutionalization
