Detective Cross by James Patterson

4.0

An anonymous caller has promised to set off deadly bombs in Washington, DC. A cruel hoax or the real deal? By the time Alex Cross and his wife, Bree Stone, uncover the chilling truth, it may already be too late....

This is Patterson's longest running series, and there have been a few misses over the years but this one certainly hits all the buttons. Although this is a short read (about 160 pages), it is full of action and whilst you find out why the bombs are been set off, you are kept guessing as to who the bomber is.

Overall this is a quick paced story which is full of twists to keep the reader interested. Looking forward to reading the new book The People vs. Alex Cross shortly.
