A Dragon of a Different Color by Rachel Aaron

4.0

I really enjoyed this, Julius is on top form politicking the Dragons and getting hmself involved in all sorts of fun. The plot s fast paced and really moves forward. It's nice to have a plot that's a little less about on the Heartstrikers infighting, I'm a bit bored of Bethesda. Bob's plots are getting more and more complicated. It's really nice to see Chelsie and the Fs backstory and get to know what happened in Chinaand I really liked the new characters.

I wasn't that interested in Marci's story to be honest (I was more interested in
Spoiler Amelia
who was with her than in Marci herself) and swapping POVs each chapter over to her just felt like we were jumping away from the dragons every time it got interesting.

Also the epilogue sticks a cliffhanger on the end which was a bit annoying, it was going to be a bit of a cliffhanger anyway just because the story is so involved now but the epilogue annoyed me.

That's a pretty vague review but there are a lot of twists and turns so it feels like everything is a spoiler.
