A Game of Retribution by Scarlett St. Clair
3.0
Okay, so, I can’t get over how almost every single page is just them smashing each other, Persephone getting mad at something, rinse and repeat. It’s really taking the plot away from the book and it’s disappointing since I find Hades’ POV to be a lot more interesting.
Which, when it does get into Hades’ story more it’s very interesting to see how all the gods interact behind the scene. This is where the majority of the Greek mythology happens and I thoroughly enjoy that part.
I’m not sure if I’m going to continue the series, as Persephone’s POV is next in the reading order. I might take a break and come back to it.
