This is the first book in the Beneath the City Sleeps series. It is set in London, which in and of itself is fabulous. Quintessa, is a private eye whose best friend went missing a few months back. When another girl goes missing, she becomes obsessed with finding her as the similarities to her friends disappearance are too much alike. This adventure takes her to places she wouldn’t normally go and reveals a world she knew nothing about. But how close to this world is she really? With a handsome and sexy club owner she embarks on a journey of not only of finding the truth of the disappearances but discovering things about herself that she never knew. This book was medium to fast paced. Pretty steamy, and emotional as well. There is some gore and a tad bit of violence. Action packed. I am looking forward to the sequel.
