Face the Fire by Nora Roberts

4.0

Mia has worked hard to build a new life and business after the love of her life left 11 years ago. She's built a popular bookstore, and enjoys gardening and working her magic. Sam's return after all these years upsets her balance, and she refuses to believe that he might be part of their quest.

Having re-read the first two books in this series I felt compelled to read this one again too. Although no reader will ever doubt the outcome of this book it's still fun to take the journey. Mia is a strong and stubborn character, and it's enjoyable to see her feathers get a little ruffled. It's a solid final book in this magical trilogy.
