Jamie is still an Energiser Bunny, non stop action and a heart of gold.
John is still the solid tower of strength for both.
David is still fightng his demons and winnng most of the time.
Once again, David's struggles are the main thrust of the story, with John and Jamie providing his support at what can always be a trying time of year. And as a reader you do get drawn into wanting it all to go right for him.
