Early Morning Riser by Katherine Heiny

Did not finish book. Stopped at 13%.
So much lazy writing! Character development is minimal at best. There are so many “yikes” moments in just the first 41 pages alone. From bashing having sex with a migrant worker to making fun of a mentally disabled man, I couldn’t stomach anymore. Oh, and the casual acceptance that the main character’s partner openly talked about having sex with every woman in their small town (single and married alike)… I love scandal in books, but pairing it with terrible writing and pacing is something I can’t excuse.
