This was fine. I was interested enough in the general idea (murder on a train — I too love Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express), but the plot here was really only fueled by shitty men and female trauma (not that rape, abuse, SA are by any means only women’s issues, but they were in this book!). I would have appreciated some intrigue beyond “this woman was also raped and abused by this man, it could have been her 👀.”
