Blood & Sugar by Laura Shepherd-Robinson

I really enjoyed this book (as much as you can ‘enjoy’ reading about slavery and eighteenth-century racism anyway, as obviously it’s incredibly uncomfortable at times), although I did prefer Daughters of Night. I wasn’t fully convinced by the  ending and the murderer’s reveal, and I can’t help feel a bit like the identity of the murderer lets it down a bit.
