The Whispers of Nemesis by Anne Zouroudi

4.0

I was pleasantly surprised by this book, I got it as a random choice, to accompany me on walks, with no prior knowledge of the series of books. It was a great little whodunit with the enigmatic Hermes Diaktoros of Athens, the titular Greek Detective of this series of books. I enjoyed the twists and turns and the descriptions of life in small Greek towns in particular the descriptions of the food which filled me with pangs of desire to visit Greece and enjoy a meze in a kafenion, drink Greek coffee (apparently you can tell the future from the grinds) and watch the world go by.
