Dancing on Broken Glass by Ka Hancock

This book is about a man named Mickey, who suffers with bipolar disorder, his wife Lucy, who has a strong family history of breast cancer in her family. I admit that I did not really enjoy being put in their lives, seeing the ups and downs of his bipolar disorder, or the heartbreak of breast cancer, but it was because the author described everything so clearly and I felt it as if I was living it. I had a very hard time putting the book down and trying to let go of it enough to fall asleep. It was terrifying and heartbreaking for me to read. I would definitely recommend, but not without a tissue or two handy.
