Annnnnnd SJM kills me again. While I really loved the tension and build up between Rhys and Feyre in #acomaf, I love the way we were able to find out more about their relationship dynamics and their power in this third book. I also love the way this book delved so much deeper into the world, it’s history, the politics, and the backstories and relationships of the people in Rhys’ and Feyre’s inner circle. It was such a delight to fall even more in love with the different characters. The story was so incredibly fast paced and I found myself quite literally unable to put it down. Sometimes the writing was a little cringey (anyone else sick of the word ‘mate’?), but the plot and characters were so intriguing that I can forgive. The ending also felt a little unrealistically perfect, but it also satisfied my sappy little soul so I’m not complaining.
