It was almost a DNF for me when I read “muscle weighs significantly more than fat.” A pound of muscle and a pound of fat are both still… a pound 😂 I’m not even sure if they had an editor though because there were a decent amount of grammatical errors throughout the entirety of the book.
Overall I wanted to enjoy the book but it felt as though there was too much going on for that to happen. In addition to the main storyline, a couple of side stories were also going on and it felt as though those stories were kind of messy and not very well fleshed out. The main characters also lacked depth and substance that made them likable. We hear about the community loving and supporting the FMC because of all these great traits, but we never get to see them. For the MMC all we hear is how hot and ripped he is.
I think this book had the bones for potential but it didn’t quite hit the mark.
