Death and the Conjuror by Tom Mead

4.0

Every time I thought I knew who the killer was, the story took me in another direction. I could not figure it out. I was slightly annoyed by Spector's magic tricks but that was minor. If it weren't for the dates, I would've never guessed this was set in the 1930s so if you're looking for something with heavy historical context, this is not it. However, this is a solid locked room mystery that will certainly have your head spinning by the end!
