Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty

5.0

How does Liane do it? The second half of this book had me tensed up, anxious, angry and sad. Also happy. Also in tears. She has this perfect way of creating characters that are real. They are totally real and you relate to them and you imagine them perfectly. And the way she writes about these awful subjects but has the perfect way of doing it.

I discovered her while on a goodwill book-hunting trip by picking up a copy of 'The Husbands Secret', thinking I'd be reading a psychological thriller of some sort. What I've gotten out of these two books is so much more. I will recommend her writing until the day I die. She's amazing.

Five stars for another perfect and unexpected story.
