at first I was like omg dark academia and I hated bunny, he was annoying and prejudiced and I was indifferent in his death. but then the book went on, and I got to see more of the characters and I realised that I missed bunny because who else would be their humanity? this book is so fucking good. I was enthralled by the characters, I related to Richard to a certain point because I started this book for this very reason:
a morbid longing for the picturesque at all costs.
but beauty without a purpose is just shallow and the aesthetic that attracted Richard proved to be unsustainable in it's own way, like let's be so fr rn
they killed two people, one of them when performing greek rituals
, that sounds appealing in theory but what the actual fuck ykwim
this book was good as fuck and now I want more
