I'd forgotten just how enjoyable this particular volume of the Xanth "trilogy" is. A quest, time travel, new and old characters...simply wonderful! This book revolves mostly around Dor, the son of Bink and Chameleon, who is a Magician in his own right. He is sent on a quest to restore the Zombie Jonathan. I particularly liked the introspection as 12yo Dor inhabits the body of a grown Mundane, and comes to realize that he has much to learn.
