I really liked this book, much more than the previous one in the series. The theme of humanity and personhood was very interesting, being explored from two different perspectives. It's also a story about an AI protagonist and it was developed in a very interesting way, exploring what bond an AI person would has with a body, and how they would enjoy the world around them.
I really enjoyed learning more about Pepper and her story, and reading what happens to Lovelace once she left the crew.
It was also a cosy story, where things are found, repaired or blossoming. A lovely read of two fascinating intertwined stories.
