MMC is a technical consultant hired by FMC to assess grant applications. There are kooky inventions, paranormal insights and some intrigue amongst a great romance. The MCs are great. She's independent, sweet and insightful. He's a bit emotionally inept but selfless and protective. I love their romance, their attraction towards each other is instant and intense. Although there's self-doubt from him because of his paranormal abilities, but she just bulldozes any doubt he has and I love that.
There's so much trust, respect and passion between them. They're wonderfully adorable together, and I appreciate zero misunderstandings and their fierce protectiveness towards each other. And the "sex issues" is kinda entertaining! 😂 This book is classic JAK and I enjoyed every moment of it.)
