Did not finish book. Stopped at 28%.
I wanted to love this book, and I truly tried, but it was not my thing. First things first, I am not a fan of unlikeable characters; especially ones that are purposefully hurting those around them. I had been recommended this by a person on BookTok, and now I see my mistake. I won’t sit here and say that the writing was bad, I for one think the author has a nice flare with her writing. I think it could have been a new favorite if the main character didn’t make me want to shove acid into my eyes. I read this with high expectations, and now am disappointed.
