The art and story of this book are both so beautiful. Growing up as a weird little girl in a very conservative town, I found myself deeply identifying with the main character and how she saw the world and what was happening around her.
Moderate: Adult/minor relationship
There is a minor/adult relationship portrayed between two secondary characters in this book. It is *not* portrayed positively, but also not explicitly called out as negative in the text as the main character is a child that doesn't have the language to express that in words. But it is implicitly shown to be a negative and manipulative relationship.
