What a heartwarming story. Though this novel touches on many difficult topics, I found it to be overall lovely.
Raymond and Eleanor’s relationship dynamic was so sweet and unexpected—I enjoyed all of their interactions and how their relationship grew closer over time. I also loved seeing Eleanor come to understand others better as she got to know them and give them the benefit of the doubt.
Graphic: Child abuse, Emotional abuse, Suicidal thoughts, and Gaslighting
Moderate: Child death, Rape, Grief, Suicide attempt, and Fire/Fire injury
