I'm beginning this by talking about that ending, because damn. Ranking a star higher for the way the plot thickened in a delicious way that I very much liked. Celaena Sardothien is finally on her way to becoming who she is truly meant to be, and I for one am very excited. Very interested in how things turn our for other characters too. First off, I almost took that fourth star off for Nehemia's brutal and tragic end, but I knew it needed to happen. I will mourn her forever, my sweet and brave Light of Eyllwe. Chaol on the other hand, oh man. He fucked up, and Celaena still cares for him, but also doesn't trust him, which is understandable. I do still like him though, and I do wanna  see where his redemption will take him. And then there's Dorian, my sweet blue eyed magical prince. I'm kinda scared for him, but also curious and excited to see how he will explore and master his brewing magic. And what he plans to do to finally make that stand against his bastard father. All in all, I'm a lot more satisfied than I was last book, and I'm definitely looking forward for more.
