The Masked City by Genevieve Cogman
5.0
I loved The Invisible Library and was amazed at the world building. So having the opportunity to go back to that world, I couldn't say no. And it wasn't as thrilling. It was good, it still was so good it deemed like 4.5 but still it's so good I put it 5 stars at the end.
I missed Vale's world, and I didn't like that Fae infested Venice as much as I loved the other London. And I missed learning more new things about the Library.
But anyway, it's worth reading and enjoying.
Librarian spies, Fae, dragons, a train that's an enslaved creature and a few interesting new characters. Books and literary references in an action packed story set in an alternate Venice celebrating Carnival.
