ACTUAL RATING 3.5/5 stars. Maybe my expectations were too high but I thought the ending was "just OK"...
My Thoughts:
1. I think the author does a great job at building up suspense throughout the book cause it had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. But what annoyed me the most was after building up so much suspense the result felt anti-climatic and left me feeling stupid for getting my hopes up.
2. For some reason, I didn't like how the author added so many twists and elements on the angel-blood paranormalcy. I think it got a little out of hand when she introduced Asael... There were times where I even got a little confused about how the whole Heaven and Hell aspect worked out.
3. I'd say that the first 60% of the book was really awesome but the remaining 40% of the plot felt too predictable and cheesy.
4. The "love-triangle" ended how I thought it would :) and I'm glad that the author included an epilogue.
5. This was the first time I've finished an angel series and actually enjoyed it :D I didn't expect to like it as much but I'm glad I did. If I had to choose, I'd say book 1 was my favourite!
