After reading "Flame King's Captive" where FMC took an ETERNITY to realize the connection between her and the MMC, and that MMC was her mate, I needed an omegaverse book that was fast and could satisfy my thirst for, well, omegaverse. Besides, this book has a dark touch that is perfect! However, both MCs tested my patience for a few times, FMC wanted to rationalize everything and was simply a denialist, and MMC did not know if he wanted to be the bad guy and for the FMC be afraid of him or if he wanted to prove himself as a devoted mate (which he ended up being).

For these little nuances I removed a star and give it 4 stars.
