I have watched a lot of videos of Neil Hilborn performing his poetry. I was pretty nervous to read this book; I was worried his poetry wouldn't translate well to the page. Surprisingly, it does, but I still had his voice in my head dictating the poems to me.
This book is humorous and at times intense, touching on topics such as mental illness with a surprising lightheartedness. This is what it's like to be mentally ill.
