It's In His Kiss by Eve Devon

3.0

Somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. I enjoyed the friends-to-lovers story of Sephy and Luke. Phew, the chemistry was off the pages at some points. Although predictable I liked it.

What I disliked was the whole history with Sephy's dad. I have not read the first 2 books in this series, so I might have missed some essentials. Sephy's father wrote a letter to each of his 3 children before he died and his letter to Sephy is mentioned several times since the start of the book, but it is never really explained what he wrote to her. But Sephy was disinherited because her share went to her daughter Daisy. It made me steaming mad to be honest. What kind of dad would do that? The point in the book where they are at her brothers wedding I almost DNF because I intensely disliked her family!! Including her mom. And Sephy was apologizing?!

Written really well this is the only reason I give 3 stars.

I received an ARC from Netgalley for my honest review.
