I loved this book. It was very dark which I usually stay away from, but I was able to handle it. Murakami approaches really sensitive topics from a man’s perspective which I found really interesting as a woman. While at first it seems like a love story, keep reading and you will see that it’s about a young man’s journey through young adult life. Sometimes the saddest books make us appreciate what we have the most. Highly recommend.
