Schoolgirl by Osamu Dazai
5.0
☆ 5 stars
A short story about a day in the life of a schoolgirl.
”Mornings are torture. I never have any confidence in the mornings”
I really love Dazai’s writing and this book did not disappoint. I’m staring at the ceiling trying to process this book and I don’t think I’ll be able to move on from this. Someone give me a blanket and some ice cream please!!
”The truth is that I secretly love what seems to be my own individuality, and I hope I always will, but fully embodying it is another matter.”
