Rătăcirile fetei nesăbuite by Mario Vargas Llosa

5.0

I've read so much Vargas Llosa that it surprises me that, with each book I finish, he still manages to astonish me. I don't know if this is one of the greatest love stories I've ever read, or if it's the story of the biggest loser in the history of literature. I'm not even going to review it, because honestly what can I say that others haven't? Just that, despite being one of Llosa's more accessible books (the political discourse is limited, compared to most of his literature), it has become one of my favorites.
