What can I say about “The Fury of the Gods” by John Gwynne that hasn’t already been said?

The third book in The Bloodsworn Saga is everything you want in a finale that closes out an epic fantasy series. There is heartbreak, deaths of beloved and hated characters alike, and an overall sense of hope, love, and loyalty that only Norse inspired settings can inspire.

While many readers are excited to complete the story of Orka (truly one of my favorite fantasy characters of all times!), Elvar, and the Bloodsworn, I found myself loving the SeÐor Witches. Uspa, Vol, and their fellow SeÐor witches were so fun and powerful and fascinating to read about. They were the ones who really turned the tides of many battles through this story.

The Fury of the Gods was NON-STOP action! And even in times when a battle was not raging, the anticipation of the oncoming war was enough to make it feel like a lot was going on. I couldn’t not put this book down.

I am saddened that this story is over. One of my favorite fantasy series of all time has come to an end. But one thing I do know is that I will be revisiting this world in the future. I don’t often reread books, but this will be one exception.
