The Daily Stoic: 366 Meditations on Wisdom, Perseverance, and the Art of Living by Ryan Holiday

4.0

Good book. Loved the idea of having a book to read one page at a time and reflect on it throughout the year.

The quotes and commentaries varied wildly for me. Some I found insightful, some I could agree on, some I did heavily disagree with. Some were well commentated and some were contradicting the quote, themselves or some other part of the book. It was sometimes a joy and sometimes absolutely infuriating to read.

But the point is to make you think and reflect and even the "bad parts" do exactly that and bring you to form opinions about topics you dont think about very often and help you to better understand who you are as a person.

I thought it was a very enjoyable experience overall and will definitely read a 365 days-of-wisdom type of book again.
