Bullet point thoughts:
- ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5 I just adore Alice Hoffman’s witchy storytelling so much, it’s so cozy and fantastical
- the Whimsigoth 90’s vibes were awesome
- you can definitely tell this book was written in the 90’s and even though I loved my time reading this, it doesn’t deserve the highest rating and I think needs to be humbled a tad. This book has multiple handfuls of outdated and frustrating themes that occur throughout & I cannot completely overlook them regardless of my enjoyment
