Incest: From "A Journal of Love": The Unexpurgated Diary of Anaïs Nin, 1932-1934 by Anaïs Nin

4.0

fittingly begins with an affair with artaud, as anais freefalls through her most insane life choices: an affair with her father, affairs with both her therapists, and culminating in a gruesome late term abortion. it's exhausting to read, and she must have been exhausting to know. can't help but feel she made these choices primarily for writing material.
