Ink Knows No Borders: Poems of the Immigrant and Refugee Experience by Alyssa Raymond, JoAnn Balingit, Javier Zamora, Emtithal Mahmoud, Patrice Vecchione

I really enjoyed this anthology of poems, and I recommend it to everyone. Works like this are so important to share, especially in the current political context. My favorite poem was Refugees, by Brian Bilston (https://brianbilston.com/2016/03/23/refugees/). It is SO powerful. The first time I read it, I felt the anger building up, and then I got to the end, and read it a second time, and it was a magical moment.
Thank you to all the poets in this book for sharing their stories, each so rich, and taken together they create a beautiful mosaic, full of nuances, full of colors, full of stories and experiences.
