The voice actors make this book what it is. Aero is off his fucking rocker, and I appreciate Jescie providing so much background and history on Aero. I feel like that is something that is lacking with a lot of MCs since most books are FMC-oriented. I am also happy with the fact that the FMC bosses the hell up and turns into a bad bitch. . The Joe Arden controversy made me dislike part of this book. I'm also not big on religious trauma books. Wasn't feeling the audio book for the most part. If I would have read it, I might have liked it more.
