This time actually finished the book! Gosh, I’m in a huge reading slump now bc of this book. I think I actually hate the fake dating trope cause it’s always so bs and cringe. Also, it was hella instalust for me, they were attracted to each other from the get go. Pls see all of Indy’s msgs to Vee. Where was the tension and angst?!?!

Ryan, that man is perfect. Too perfect. Too unrealistic for me. Where was his flaw? His only character development was his realization that he doesn’t have to be perfect all the time, and he can admit he feels under pressured, BFFR. Nba teams have psychologists and what not, this would’ve been already handled. So the fact is, he is flawless.

Plot. Idk if man makes like 50million plus sponsorships etc. he could’ve bought a new place as rental investment for Indy, cause YK since he loved his space so much. It’s especially weird give his trauma about his second bedroom. Is all I’m saying.

What did yall read because Indy was insufferable to me. I’m a ball fan and this was kinda unrealistic.

Psa don’t listen to this on audio. The voices made me wanna throw my phone out the window.
