Avatar: The Last Airbender - Suki, Alone by Faith Erin Hicks

4.0

So the boiling rock pts. 1 and 2 are among my favorite episodes in the series and I was excited to see this comic about Suki, one of my favorite characters ever from any fandom. While we learned a bit more about Suki's backstory and her time at the boiling rock, I was expecting more and this fell short! I wish this has been at least 2-3x as long, not only because I love avatar content and will always consume it + support its creation, but because this story felt sparse and lacking! The content in this comic would definitely be enough for a 20-min a:tla episode, but I would have loved to see more because as a book, I read it way too quickly. 5 stars for my girl Suki and the avatar universe, but I'm knocking a star for the length and the story being kind of bare-boned.
