Oh, sweet Lucy. Sometimes I, too, have spiders in my brain.
This book was a delight. It was a warm, weighted blanket - a balm for my weary soul. I wish I could bottle the feeling this book gave me, so that I could guzzle it down when the spiders take over.
This novel wears its heart on its sleeve, just as I do, just as the world does. It is quirky and charming and playful and kind - and I cannot recommend it strongly enough.
