The Way of the Househusband, Vol. 2, by Kousuke Oono

5.0

Tatsu used to be known as "The Immortal Dragon," the most feared, legendary and badass Yakuza leader maybe ever. But for some reason he decides to leave it all behind and become a househusband. He still looks like a terrifying gangster, but now most of his fights involve him, his cat and a roomba rather than other gangs.

Let's just agree to get it straight right off the back; this is sorta one joke manga. The joke being he was a bad guy and now he is a stay at home househusband. He looks menacing but he's just doing cutesy, mundane things like joining an aerobics class and having a crepe making contest. It's dumb, it's silly. It's also everything I want right now. Honestly, who cares if it's repetitive? It's amusing and 160 pages! It's a light read perfect for between novels or something. I don't know, not every manga has to be 100 pages of intense character development and action. Sometimes you just wanna snort at a dude playing volleyball It's cool. Enjoy.
