Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
4.0
Admittedly not the audience this book is written for, I still recommend it, especially for those who are fans of the Hitchcock film (his only Best Picture film at that). I definitely read it with that in mind, and you definitely see why he'd adapt this. I wasn't a huge fan with how the made their way to the conclusion, but it was still told well with interesting characters (Morse so the supporting and tertiary characters, I felt the main characters truly fleshed out the way I feel they were meant to). I'd also probably trim the first third of the book, I felt a good chunk of it was kind of forgettable. Still, an interesting thriller that kept you on your toes, worth checking out...
