Happy Snak, by Nicole Kimberling

4.0

A short, snappy glimpse into a fully-realized and creative alien culture, based on humanoid sea life. Seen from the eyes of a heroine, refreshingly single-minded capitalistic focused on developing her business, while becoming the first human to be deeply involved in inter-species diplomacy, and unwilling swept into the midst of a Shakespearean tragic love story. Mixed in with treachery and culture shock, as well as copious opportunities for marketing Happy Snak to a blank slate new world, as yet untouched by commercialism, just awaiting that one right human to spark their hunger...

Uncomplicated yet funny, intriguing, romantic. Highly recomended!
